    Meet your guide and transfer to a coffee farm or community project close to Antigua.

    Welcome and introduction to coffee

    The growers welcome you and share the history of the place and why Guatemala is one of the leading producers of specialty coffee.

  3. 15:00

    Walk through the plantation

    Stroll among the coffee plants to learn about the varieties, the natural conditions, and the seasonal farming practices.

  4. 15:45

    The transformation process

    In the processing area you see pulping, fermentation, washing, drying, and sorting of the beans, and how each step shapes the final profile.

  5. 16:30

    Roasting and tasting

    A roasting and artisanal brewing demonstration ends in a guided tasting to pick out aromas, flavors, and nuances.

    Return to Antigua Guatemala
